Jackie Q. grew up in a fun, snarky family with loving parents and is one of many sarcastic sisters. She loved watching old classic movies and reading tons of books, creating her own make-believe worlds. When life grew hard in her daily battle with debilitating migraines and mental health struggles, she found strength in her faith and refuge in stories.
After serving ten years as a pastor’s wife in a small ranching town in Texas, it seemed only natural to write quirky closed door romantic comedy books. Happily sharing all the silly antics of small town life, Jackie Q. shares stories rich in love, laughter, and faith. She invites readers into a world of witty banter, sizzling kisses, light Christian themes, and no spice. Also? Some meddling matchmakers and gossipy small town newspapers in serious need of grammatical help. Small towns, what can you do?
On most days, you’ll find Q (as many friends call her) tapping away on her laptop and sipping her coffee in front of her beautiful bookshelves with her still-in-training service pup napping nearby. She loves taking walks, reading, and laughing with friends and family. One day she’d love to finish weeding her garden or wake up and discover that her house is clean and laundry put away. Alas, she isn’t sure that kind of magic exists.
Though the date for the series release is still TBD, she is releasing a short teaser to fans here.
